CW Battle Royale
Due to cheating and the inappropriate behavior of others, this game has been disabled.
I built this game to bring people together and help everyone enjoy radio. It grew out of the “FT8OFF,” a concept I created over five years ago, and it has come a long way since then. This game was free to play. I hosted it, paid for it, developed it, and gave my own time to it every day.
I'm not always the perfect representative for radio, but every day I try my hardest to be a better one, even when it's a struggle. Instead of arguing over whether apps like QSO ONE are “real” ham radio, I tried to build something people could use and enjoy on the air. In the end, it was ruined by the same behavior.
Sometimes it feels like the biggest threat to ham radio is how we treat each other. Some will say there’s no problem in ham radio, that it’s growing and doing just fine. I disagree. A hobby can’t grow if we keep making excuses for how people treat each other.
Everything that happens here doesn't just reflect on me; it affects me, too. I would rather shut the game down than let it represent amateur radio this way. If this is how I have been seen representing radio, I am truly sorry.
To everyone who played fair and treated others with respect: thank you. Keep getting on the air, and keep being kind to each other. That's what radio is about.
